Children's Ministry

Faith Baptist Church desires to come alongside you as a parent, assisting your children as they discover the bright hope and future we have in Jesus Christ.  Realizing the great potential God has placed in each child, we desire, through the relevant teaching of God's Word, and a Godly loving example, to help your child mature in and live their faith.

This starts in our Sunday School program where there are classes for every child.  Each of these classes are taught by teachers that have a heart for sharing God's Word with children, desiring to see them learn God's Word and use it as a "lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path".

Our Sunday School is divided into the following class groups:

     Two & Three Years

     Four & Five Years

     Kindergarten

     First & Second Grade

     Third & Fourth Grade

     Fifth & Sixth Grade

In addition to our Sunday School program, we provide opportunity for worship together in a unique and exciting Children's Worship Service.  Every week, in an age appropriate way, children are challenged to surrender their heart to Jesus Christ, to develop their relationship with Him, to acknowledge God in every aspect of their lives, and to follow His direction. 

In the Children's Worship Service, children are challenged, encouraged and helped to participate in various forms of ministry.  As their abilities and talents allow, children learn to collect the offering, sing special music, sing in musical ensembles, play offertories, greet visitors, and assist the teachers.

On Wednesday evenings, children enjoy opportunities to study God's Word, memorize Scripture, sing and fellowship together in our Bible clubs.  The Wiseguys club is available for children kindergarten through third grade and The Master's Club is available for children fourth grade through sixth grade.

Other activities for children's growth and enjoyment are scheduled throughout the year including summer camp, Vacation Bible School, children's visitation, and parties.

Bus transportation to and from church on Sunday mornings is also provided for children within the city needing transportation.
