Mike and his wife, Jessica, have served at Faith Baptist Church since July 2017, and as senior pastor since 2019. Mike and Jessica are passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Christ and becoming part of a thriving church family.
Mike and Jessica were married in January 2006 and have four children. They have spent their entire married life serving in ministry and have been blessed to see God work in incredible ways through the years. In his free time, Mike loves spending time with his family, playing his guitar, running, hiking, and camping.
Our history, if it would be good to have a history page: "Faith Baptist Church was established in April 1971 by a group of believers who desired to build a church firmly rooted in the teaching of God's Word and the proclamation of the gospel. The congregation first met at 244 SW K Street in Grants Pass before purchasing property on Williams Highway in 1973. Over the years, the campus has grown to include an auditorium, classrooms, and other facilities that have supported an expanding ministry to children, teens, adults, and families.
Throughout its history, God has faithfully guided the church through seasons of growth and transition. While pastors and ministries have changed through the years, the church's commitment has remained constant: to faithfully preach and teach the Bible, exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, make disciples, and share the hope of the gospel both locally and around the world through missions.
"Faith Baptist Church has been blessed by the faithful service of many members who have invested their lives in worship, discipleship, children's ministries, outreach, music, missions, and the care of one another. Their love for Christ and His church has helped establish a strong biblical foundation that continues to shape the ministry today.
Today, our desire is the same as it was over fifty years ago—to glorify God by making mature followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to be a church where the Scriptures are taught clearly, families are strengthened, believers are equipped to serve, and people of every age are welcomed with the love and truth of Christ.
